I made this card yesterday afternoon for my daughter's friend who is having an ice cream social party. I was looking for something with an ice-cream theme and found lots of inspiration from the current "Papercrafts" magazine. There's an entire section titled: "Indulge in Delicious" with the sweetest cupcake and ice cream cards. The ice cream scoops were all hand-cut. Sometimes you don't need all of those dies, just make your own. I also scored the cone using my Scor-Pal (although it's hard to see) to give it that criss-cross pattern of an old-fashioned cone.
I wanted to break out the sewing machine, or add more bling, but I decided to keep it simple.
Hi! Welcome to my little blog. This is the space where I organize all of my craftiness while I dabble in a multitude of fun things including papercrafts, sewing, photography, baking, thrifting, junking, organizing, raising two girls while sharing my life with an incredibly loving husband. I hope you enjoy what you see because I really enjoy sharing what I do!
